ABOUT THE FOCUS MEETING IN ROME

"On behalf of the ICRS Executive Committee, we would like to invite you to the the Focus Meeting entitled “One Step Cartilage Repair” that will be held in Rome from 5 to 7 June 2019.

We are excited over the innovative faculty, which combines Clinicians and Scientists, all leaders in the field of cartilage repair. They will offer participants a complete overview of every possible single one-step treatment for focal cartilage defects, from marrow stimulation to the latest advances in orthobiologics, regenerative medicine and focal resurfacing. The two-day meeting will be completed by an optional half day interactive practical workshop on associated surgical treatments such as femoral, tibial and patella-femoral osteotomies, meniscus transplant, bone marrow aspiration and stem cell withdrawal.

It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to come to Rome for a memorable experience in every sense and we look forward to seeing you in June 2019.

Welcome to Rome

ROME THE ETERNAL CITY

Only a hundred metres from the majestic Piazza Cavour, at the centre of the Prati neighbourhood, the Cicerone Hotel allows our guests easy access not only to Rome's main tourist attractions but also the city's many restaurants and shops. The fabulous shops at Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna are only a fifteen minute walk away (or one stop on the metro subway). The Vatican is the same distance, just through the Via Cola di Rienzo area. Positioned in the exclusive and elegant Prati neighbourhood, you can walk from the Cicerone Hotel Rome to Castel Sant'Angelo, Saint Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the other direction across the Tiber, you can wander through the medieval heart of the city with its unique and world-famous fountains, churches and squares.

From Castel Sant'Angelo, on the other hand, you can follow the Tiber towards Saint Peter's to Trastevere, the Rome neighbourhood famous for its nightlife, full of bars, pubs and restaurants open all hours.
